Rebecca LeGrand is the founder of LeGrand Law. A formidable litigator, with twenty years of experience defending both companies and individuals facing complex legal challenges, Rebecca has earned a reputation for being a tenacious, intelligent, and creative lawyer.

Rebecca approaches her cases strategically and analytically. A biologist by training, Rebecca considers her science background an invaluable asset in her fight for justice. Rebecca is committed to representing her clients efficiently and effectively. She listens to her clients, tailoring a legal strategy to their specific goals, and working closely with them to obtain the best possible outcome.

Rebecca began her career as a litigation associate at Williams & Connolly. She then joined a small firm in D.C., which she helped grow into a leading boutique criminal defense firm. In 2016, Rebecca started her own firm, where she has built a passionate team and tackled a diverse range of casework.

Rebecca is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia, as well as multiple federal trial and appellate courts.

She has served as an adjunct professor at American University Washington College of Law. She has also spoken at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), and appeared as a guest legal expert on major news programs.

In her spare time, Rebecca still follows science news, and enjoys birdwatching and any excuse to get out on the water.
