Abigail Schofield joined LeGrand Law as a paralegal in January 2024.
Abigail received a B.A. in History, with Highest Distinction, from the University of Virginia. Her senior thesis—on colonial-era widows’ campaigns to gain financial aid from the Virginia legislature—was named the Best Distinguished Majors Thesis in Early American History.
While in college, Abigail worked on the social media marketing team and Director’s team at the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center. She also was a leader and violinist in the Radio Music Society, an ensemble that arranges pop songs for string quartets.
Abigail is a former barista and current coffee lover. In her spare time, she serves as a volunteer judge for the Virginia High School Debate League.
